Cyclone Fengal made landfall along the coastal stretch between Karaikal in Puducherry and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. The storm brought winds with speeds of up to 90 km/h during landfall, significantly impacting the region.

Cyclone Fengal has struck Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, leading to intense rainfall and flooding. Uprooted trees, submerged streets, and decreased temperatures add to the challenges. A red alert has led to the closure of schools and transport suspension in Chennai and northern districts.

Cyclone Fengal made landfall on Saturday night between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm IST, near Puducherry, with wind speeds of 70-80 km/h, gusting up to 90 km/h.
