Paul Heyman has managed numerous world champions over his WWE Hall of Fame career. On WWE SmackDown, two of those clients unexpectedly joined forces. Heyman returned after a five-month hiatus, bringing CM Punk along to complete Roman Reigns' WarGames team.

It was a Friday Night SmackDown doubleheader at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Next week's episode was filmed at the conclusion of Friday's show and will feature some major match-ups as the build to Survivor Series: WarGames continues.

On Friday Night, CM Punk paid tribute to Paul Heyman on his return and also announced his return on WWE Smackdown so that he can join the original Bloodline's WarGames team. Both of them returned on the November 22 episode of WWE Smackdown.
