A married couple stabbed, shot, and eventually killed each other last week in a gruesome fight inside their Washington State home, all while their 11-year-old son played video games in another room. The boy was wearing earbuds as his parents were “assaulting each other” on Halloween, officials said.

A mom and dad killed each other during a fight while their 11-year-old child played video games in a different room, Washington deputies said. The child discovered the parents after 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and called 911, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

According to the Cowlitz County Sherrif's Office, Juan Antonio Alvarado Saenz, 38, and Cecilia Robles Ochoa, 39, murdered one another while their 11-year-old child played video games with headphones on in a nearby room at their Longview,
