Nayanthara faced legal trouble after Dhanush sent her a legal notice for not obtaining approval to use a BTS clip from his film in her documentary.

Nayanthara and Dhanush were once co-stars and collaborators. They might not have been the best of friends since but few would have imagined that they'd enter a public feud.

The case was brought to the Madras High Court on November 27 and the court asked Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, and others to clarify the allegations against them.

Nayanthara is embroiled in a legal dispute with actor Dhanush over the unauthorized use of a three-second clip from their film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in her documentary, 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale'.
