There is the potential for the weather to cause further disruption in Northern Ireland later as a warning for high winds comes into effect. On Saturday, a number of homes in counties Down and Tyrone were flooded after heavy rain and wind caused by Storm Bert.

Dozens of flood warnings and alerts remain in place across England on Sunday as disruption from Storm Bert continues in many parts of the UK. A number of snow ploughs and gritters are travelling up and down the A9 to keep it moving through the amber warning period. Storm Bert could bring up to 30cm of snow today as wintery conditions sweep across the UK, says weather presenter Kirsty McCabe.
