NFL Thanksgiving games in 2024 begin at 12:30pm ET with Detroit hosting Chicago. Two more contests are on the Thanksgiving Day schedule.

Thanksgiving Day is meant for family, food, and football. Everyone knows this; no one better than the NFL, though. For years, the NFL has gifted us with games on Thanksgiving, and this year, fans are getting three contests to enjoy over dinner.

It was the smallest card of the 2024 NFL season in terms of the number of contests (13). A total of six teams were off in Week 12, including a pair from the AFC East (Bills and Jets), and the NFC South (Falcons and Saints). The AFC North’s Bengals and AFC South’s Jaguars round out the half-dozen clubs getting some much-needed rest.

The Cowboys’ upset helped the surging Philadelphia Eagles create even more cushion in their NFC East lead. And in New York, the Giants proved they’ve got plenty of other problems beyond QB Daniel Jones.
