American skier Mikaela Shiffrin says she suffered an abrasion on her left hip when crashing during her second run of a World Cup giant slalom race

Shiffrin, World Cup skiing's all-time wins leader, was in first place after the first run but ended the second in a ski patrol sled. Her condition and status for Sunday's slalom were unknown.
